Coulomb Technologies today announced the completion of more than 2400 shipments of its public and commercial charging stations for electric vehicles through its ChargePoint® America program. Coulomb has seen exceptional demand in all 10 regions of the program and is finalizing the installation of charging stations within these regions. The ChargePoint America program is made possible by a $15M matching grant funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act through the Transportation Electrification Initiative administered by the Department of Energy.


CambridgeSide Galleria announces it will offer complimentary charging services for electric vehicle (EV) drivers inside their parking garage. The charging services are a part of Coulomb Technologies ChargePoint® Network, the largest network of independently owned charging stations in the world. CambridgeSide’s charging stations, located on Level A of the parking garage, are made possible via an innovative partnership between the mall and the City of Cambridge and was funded by a Department of Energy federal grant. The Obama administration has set a goal to have one million EVs on the road by 2015. CambridgeSide Galleria is pleased to be a part of this forward thinking movement to reduce air and noise pollution.


Coulomb Technologies today announced that The Boeing Company, the world's leading aerospace company and the largest manufacturer of commercial jetliners and military aircraft, has installed Coulomb’s ChargePoint stations for electric vehicles (EV) on four campuses; Bellevue, Wash., Portland, Ore., El Segundo, Calif. and Mesa, Ariz. The charging stations are part of a pilot program sponsored by the Boeing Utilities Services & Conservation group to respond to employee requests for EV charging at work. The system allows Boeing to track employee EV use and collect and report associated environmental metrics. The stations are a part of Coulomb’s ChargePoint® Network, the largest network of independently owned charging stations in the world. The sale and installation of the stations was completed by Coulomb’s distribution partner Charge Northwest.


Coulomb Technologies today announced that National Grid, a leading utility in the Northeast, is now providing electric vehicle (EV) drivers with a new and premium charging experience throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. National Grid has completed the installation of more than 30 new charging stations at several host locations. The stations are a part of Coulomb's ChargePoint® Network, the largest network of independently owned charging stations in the world. The utility will help build out the necessary infrastructure for Massachusetts residents to feel good about purchasing electric vehicles throughout the region. National Grid and its hosting partners are offering the public charging services at no cost to EV drivers for a minimum of two years.


Coulomb Technologies has named James Hanley vice president of worldwide sales and business development. Coulomb is the developer of ChargePoint® Network, the largest network of EV drivers and independently owned charging stations worldwide. In his position, Mr. Hanley is responsible for the company’s global sales of software and charging stations, partner programs, business development and sales operations.


Eaton Corporation and Coulomb Technologies today announced plans to significantly expand the North American footprint of charging stations for electric vehicles (EVs). Through an agreement between the two companies, Eaton's Level II and DC quick charging Pow-R-Station charging stations will now give station owners the option to be part of Coulomb's ChargePoint® Network, the largest network of independently owned charging stations in the world.
