Pasquale Romano

President and CEO

Pasquale Romano is President and Chief Executive Officer at ChargePoint and a member of the company’s board of directors. Pasquale joined ChargePoint in February 2011, bringing more than 30 years of technology industry leadership and executive management experience to the company. In 1998, he co-founded 2Wire, which was acquired by Pace plc for $475 million in 2010. Previously, Pasquale held multiple positions in marketing and engineering at Polycom. In 1989, he co-founded Fluent Inc., a digital video networking company and served as Chief Architect until it was sold to Novell Inc. in 1993. He is currently a board member for Levitate Acquisition Corp. Pasquale holds an undergraduate degree in computer science from Harvard University and received his Master of Science degree from MIT.


Rebecca Chavez

Rebecca Chavez

General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

Rebecca Chavez is the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at ChargePoint where she is responsible for overseeing the legal affairs of the company, including commercial transactions, intellectual property, corporate governance, securities and compliance. Prior to joining ChargePoint, Rebecca was Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, Corporate, Securities and M&A of Palo Alto Networks Inc., a global cybersecurity leader. Previously, she served as Associate General Counsel, Finance and Governance of Levi Strauss & Co. and worked as a senior corporate associate at Sidley Austin LLP and corporate associate at Morrison & Foerster LLP. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts from Stanford University and earned a Juris Doctor from UC Davis School of Law (King Hall).


Michael Hughes

Chief Revenue Officer

Michael Hughes is an accomplished sales leader with 25 years of experience in strategic planning, sales, services, marketing, business and organizational development, product leadership, operations and market-making in early-stage and established technology companies. At ChargePoint, Hughes leads global sales, mobility ecosystem relationships and business development functions. Prior to joining ChargePoint, he spent nine years at Barracuda Networks, serving as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Services and scaling the company to $500 million in revenue and an initial public offering. He was previously Vice President of Sales for Asempra Technologies and a sales and business development leader at McDATA Corporation, Invio Software and Marimba. Michael advises technology and venture capital firms. He holds a BS in Marketing from Miami University and an MBA from the University of Michigan.


Rex Jackson

Chief Financial Officer

Rex Jackson is the Chief Financial Officer at ChargePoint where he leads finance, investor relations, corporate development and facilities. He brings extensive experience in finance, corporate development, real estate, M&A, information technology and intellectual property to the role. Prior to joining ChargePoint, Rex served as CFO for Gigamon, Rocket Fuel Inc., JDS Uniphase Corp. and Symyx Technologies Inc., and held senior executive positions at leading public and private companies including Avago (now Broadcom Inc.) and Synopsys. He currently sits on the board of mixed signal optics innovator EMCORE Corp. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University and received a Juris Doctor from Stanford University Law School.


Colleen Jansen

Chief Marketing Officer

Colleen Jansen is the Chief Marketing Officer at ChargePoint. She is a market strategist with 20 years of experience in both B2B and B2C marketing, spanning early stage, privately held VC-funded companies as well as large-cap, publicly traded firms. Colleen is responsible for the marketing and policy functions. Prior to ChargePoint, she led teams in category-creating startups as well as established brands including Microsoft, Yahoo, Intuit and LinkedIn. Colleen sits on the board of CALSTART, a nonprofit that works to create jobs, cut air pollution and curb climate change. An early EV adopter, she is passionate about helping businesses and consumers realize the benefits of driving electric. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Fresno.


Lawrence Lee

Senior Vice President, Operations and Services

Lawrence Lee is the Senior Vice President, Manufacturing and Operations at ChargePoint, where he brings more than 17 years of international experience in engineering, operations, supply chain and new product introduction. Most recently, during 10 years at Apple, Lawrence was responsible for leading new product introduction of all Mac products, including piloting new ways to increase capacity flexibility and managing down costs. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University, as well as an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.


Bill Loewenthal

Senior Vice President, Product

Bill Loewenthal has decades of experience in general management and product leadership, specializing in market-based business planning and cross-functional execution. Bill has had success in a variety of industries, including telecom, internet, consumer electronics and media. As a global product leader, he has deep experience in portfolio management and platform businesses including connected devices, hardware, software, and B2B2C. Bill has held leadership roles at Plantronics, ReplayTV, Mitsubishi and several startups. Over the course of his career, Bill has helped launch products that have become essential to the lives of millions. He leads Product Management, User Experience, and Technical Docs teams. He holds a B.S. from San Jose State University.


Lisa Mulrooney Gross

Chief People Officer

Lisa Mulrooney Gross is the Chief PeopleOfficer at ChargePoint, where she brings more than 20 years of global HR experience to her role. Before joining ChargePoint, Lisa was Senior Vice President, People at Fitbit, where she helped build a culture of high performance and high engagement and supported the successful sale of the company to Google. Prior to Fitbit, she led HR teams in a number of leading companies, including Bayer Healthcare, Applied Materials and General Electric. Since 2016, she has served on the Board of Directors for Girls Inc. of Alameda County in Oakland, California. She holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Psychology from Colombia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UCLA.


Eric Sidle

Senior Vice President, Engineering

Eric Sidle is Senior Vice President of Engineering at ChargePoint, where he leads and grows all aspects of ChargePoint’s engineering organization and the company’s global R&D laboratories. Eric has more than 20 years of experience in technology and was most recently Senior Director of Autonomous Driving Hardware at electric vehicle manufacturer NIO, where he led teams responsible for the design and production of hardware, manufacturing and validation as well as fleet operations. Before NIO, he held leadership positions at Apple, Hewlett Packard, and Raytheon. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
