As the leader in the EV charging space, ChargePoint drew on extensive data and customer feedback to create a solution that makes EV charging in public/shared spaces, such as workplaces, a more efficient and pleasant process, both for drivers and station owners.

It has secured an additional $50 million in a funding round led by Linse Capital, with participation from insiders including Braemar Energy Ventures and Constellation Energy. ChargePoint has now raised over $164 million from leading investors including Rho Ventures, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, BMW iVentures and Siemens. Alongside the new funding, ChargePoint also announced an evolution of its board.

ChargePoint fleet products and services are designed to cater to the specific needs of commercial fleet operators. The new offerings enhance ChargePoint's fleet solutions, meeting the charging needs of every fleet and shared use scenario, from campuses and government sharing programs to large commercial fleets.


This week, the California Energy Commission (CEC) proposed to award nearly $4 million to ChargePoint to complete the West Coast Electric Highway, which connects British Columbia to Baja California with fast charging stations for electric vehicles (EV). The CEC awarded a total of $8.8 million in grants to complete California's portion of the Highway.
