ChargePoint Receives Verizon’s Supplier Environmental Excellence Award
- ChargePoint recognized for its environmental leadership as a supplier in Verizon’s EV Charging Station initiative.

Campbell, CA - ChargePoint, the world’s largest and most open electric vehicle (EV) charging network, today announced receiving Verizon’s 2015 Supplier Environmental Excellence Award in the green/sustainability category. The award was given to ChargePoint in recognition of its environmental leadership in Verizon’s EV Charging Station initiative. Verizon was one of the first 13 companies to enroll in the U.S. Department of Energy’s Workplace Charging Challenge.

"ChargePoint has installed EV chargers at nine Verizon locations around the country, making it easier for our employees to commute in electric vehicles and reduce their greenhouse gas emissions."
The Verizon Supplier Recognition Awards are given to companies that support Verizon's commitment to customer service, quality and excellence. The green/sustainability category recognizes a Verizon vendor that shares the company’s standards for environmental protection. In addition to installing the EV chargers, ChargePoint helped design custom processes for Verizon to implement and maximize its EV charging program.
