How do I set up widgets with the ChargePoint app?

ChargePoint iOS Lock Screen and Home Screen widgets give you timely information about your charging status, nearby stations and your ChargePoint Home charger. You can find a place to charge with Nearby Stations. With Home Charger you can see your vehicle’s charging status, check your home charging status, set reminders and more.

ChargePoint mobile app widgets for Android give you timely information about your charging status and nearby stations. You can find a place to charge with Nearby Stations, check your place in line with Waitlist and view your charging status on your mobile home screen without opening the app.

Here’s how to add iOS Lock screen widgets:

  1. Get the ChargePoint app, and sign up or log in.
  2. Touch and hold the Lock Screen until the Customize button appears.
  3. Tap Customize.
  4. Tap or drag the ChargePoint widget you’d like to add.
  5. Tap Done.


Here’s how to add iOS Home Screen widgets:

  1. Get the ChargePoint app, and sign up or log in.
  2. From the Home Screen, touch and hold an empty area until the apps jiggle.
  3. Tap the + button in the upper-left corner.
  4. Select the ChargePoint widget you’d like to add.
  5. Tap Add Widget.

Tip: To configure the Nearby Stations widget, touch and hold the widget to open the quick actions menu. Tap Edit Widget. Choose your station filtering, then tap outside of the widget to exit.

Lock Screen widgets require iOS 16 and above. Home Screen widgets require iOS 15 and above.


Here’s how to add Android widgets:

  1. Get the ChargePoint app, and sign up or log in.
  2. Touch and hold the ChargePoint app.
  3. Then tap Widgets.
  4. Select the ChargePoint widget you’d like to add.
